All persons wishing to use a quiet Study Room and/or Meeting Pod must register with a librarian prior to entering it. Librarians will ask for ID or library card for each reservation.
Inappropriate behavior of any kind, including, but not limited to those behaviors listed in the Library Code of Conduct, will result in expulsion and loss of Study Room and/or Meeting Pod privileges.
Occupants must vacate the room/pod fifteen minutes prior to the library’s closing. Reservations cannot be extended for additional time.
Meeting Pods - Located on the first floor, these pods are perfect for Zoom and one-on-one meetings. Available for a maximum of 1 hour per day.
Private Study Rooms - Enjoy individual study on the second floor. This is a quiet floor; all audio and speaking must be done on the first floor. Available for a maximum of 3 hours per day.
Please note: Reservations can be made by West Hempstead Public Library Cardholders in good standing 24 hours in advance.
